Application
XLC de-sanding machine is mainly used in whirlpool grit chambers of
urban sewage treatment plants. This equipment uses hydrocyclone to
effectively separate mud and sand from organic matter. It is an
ideal de-sanding equipment.

Main Features
1. The de-sanding effect of this equipment is minimally affected by
changes in water volume, and has compact structure, convenient
operation and maintenance, and long service life.
2. There are two ways to lift sand: gas lift and pump lift. The gas
lift treatment effect is relatively good, and the pump lift cost is
relatively low.
3. The use effect is good, and the removal rate of particles above
0.2mm is greater than 85%.
4. For the processing capacity Q<1080m3/h, the pool body can be
made of steel, and the QN 1080m3/h is generally a concrete
structure.
5. The system adopts PLC to automatically control the cycle of sand
washing and sand discharge, which is safe and reliable in
operation.
6. The equipment is easy to operate, and the operation of the
equipment can be directly controlled locally/remotely.
Structure and Working Principle
The cyclone grit chamber adopts a cone-bottomed circular tank with
a paddle separator in the tank. The tangential inflow of the sewage
from the tank is rotated by 270. Afterwards (clockwise from the top
view), it is discharged from the discharge channel, using a certain
flow rate of the inlet water as a power, and moving tangentially
along the inner wall of the circular grit chamber to form a
swirling flow. At the same time, it is stirred by the blades to
make the liquid swirl and flow together. The axial vortex
accelerates the sedimentation of sand particles in the sewage and
effectively separates the organic matter and sand particles in the
water. At the same time, it also uses the principle that the closer
the center the water flow cross section is, the faster the water
flow speed, and the centripetal increase of the bottom water flow
speed is used to settle the sand at the bottom Move to the center
sand bucket in a spiral trajectory. The organic matter rises upward
in the center of the pool and is discharged along with the effluent
flow. The bottom sand is lifted by the lifting device and enters
the sand-water separator for sand-water separation, and the sewage
returns to the bar screen well.

Packing and Delivery
1. Waterproof packing with the international export standard by
20ft, 40ft, 40hp container. Equipment Fittings, Electric Motor and
Power Cabinet will be packed in Wooden Case or Iron Box. Other
Equipment will be packed by Color-Stripes Plastic Cloth.
2. The whole plant machinery size are large as normal, so we will
use Waterproof cloth to pack all of them. The motor, gear box or
other easily damaged parts, we will put them into box. We have a
professional shipping department, they will try their best to save
your container quantity.
