Application
Compared with the traditional sand filter, the continuous flow sand
filter has a great breakthrough. It is a continuous filtration
equipment integrating coagulation, clarification and filtration. It
uses the principle of upflow flow and uses a single homogeneous
filter material. Filtration and sand washing are carried out at the
same time, and it can run continuously and automatically for 24
hours. No need to stop and backwash. The ingenious sand lifting and
washing structure replaces the traditional high-power backwashing
system, with extremely low operating energy consumption, easy
management, and unattended operation. It is widely used in the
fields of drinking water, industrial water, sewage treatment and
water reuse treatment.
Structure and Working Principle
The continuous quicksand filter system can be installed
independently or as a filter component in muddy water.
When installed independently, it is composed of a tank and internal
filter components. The internal filter components include inlet and
outlet pipes, water distributors, sand washers, flushing water
outlet pipes, and air lift pump casings, etc., made of stainless
steel or glass fiber reinforced plastic.
The tank is suitable for small-scale filtration. It operates with a
single filter or multiple filters in parallel. The tank is easy to
install and does not require large-scale civil construction, saving
construction time.
When used for large-scale filtration, the filtration system adopts
a concrete structure. The internal components are made of stainless
steel or glass steel.
When this type of filter system is installed, all filter units
share a sand bed. The filtering system operates in groups, and each
group can operate in parallel or independently. Fully adapt to
filtration requirements.
Control System
The continuous flow sand filter control system consists of two
parts: an electrical control cabinet and an air control cabinet.
One electric control cabinet controls one or several air control
units, and one air control cabinet controls one or more sand filter
units.
The electrical control cabinet has the basic functions of
controlling the start, operation and alarm of the continuous
quicksand filter. When the continuous quicksand filter is operating
normally, the electrical control cabinet guarantees continuous
flushing; when there is an abnormality in the operation process,
the alarm signal should be transmitted to the control box,
Subsequent procedures will issue instructions to stop the
filtration system running through the operator or the central
control system provided by the customer.
Packing and Delivery
1. Waterproof packing with the international export standard by
20ft, 40ft, 40hp container. Equipment Fittings, Electric Motor and
Power Cabinet will be packed in Wooden Case or Iron Box. Other
Equipment will be packed by Color-Stripes Plastic Cloth.
2. The whole plant machinery size are large as normal, so we will
use Waterproof cloth to pack all of them. The motor, gear box or
other easily damaged parts, we will put them into box. We have a
professional shipping department, they will try their best to save
your container quantity.
