2T/h 304 stainless steel activated carbon filter industrial sewage treatment equipment.

A filter with granular activated carbon (GAC) is a proven option to remove certain chemicals, particularly organic chemicals, from water. GAC filters also can be used to remove chemicals that give objectionable odors or tastes to water such as hydrogen sulfide (rotten eggs odor) or chlorine.

Carbon filters also act as a catalyst to change the chemical composition of some contaminants. Activated carbon is ideal for removing chlorine, organic chemicals such as pesticides, THMs like chloroform, and many VOCs that are components of gasoline, solvents and industrial cleaners.

Service life

Carbon filters should be replaced after 18-24 months of continuous (24/7) usage. Although this may vary depending on the company product, it has been shown that carbon filters can last for up to four years. These filters' lifespan is largely dependent on their carbon quality, use, humidity, and plant type.
