The screw stacking main body of the dehydrator is a filtering
device formed by the overlapping of the fixed ring and the
traveling ring, and the spiral shaft runs through it. The front
section is the concentration section, and the rear section is the
dehydration section.
The filter gap formed between the fixed ring and the traveling ring
and the screw pitch of the spiral shaft gradually decrease from the
concentration section to the dehydration section.
The rotation of the spiral shaft drives the sludge to be
transported from the thickening section to the dewatering section,
and also drives the traveling ring to clean the filter seams to
prevent clogging.
Working Principle
Concentration
When the spiral drive shaft rotates, the multiple solid and movable
laminations arranged at the periphery of the drive shaft move
relatively. Under the action of gravity, water is filtered out from
the relatively moving lamination gap to achieve rapid
concentration.
Dewatering
The thickened sludge moves forward with the rotation of the spiral
shaft; Along the outlet direction of the mud cake, the screw pitch
of the spiral axis gradually decreases, the gap between rings also
gradually decreases, and the volume of the spiral chamber
continuously shrinks; Under the action of the back pressure plate
at the outlet, the internal pressure gradually increases. Under the
continuous operation of the spiral drive shaft, the water in the
sludge is squeezed out, and the solid content of the filter cake
continues to increase, finally realizing the continuous dehydration
of the sludge.
Self cleaning
The rotation of the spiral shaft drives the traveling ring to
rotate continuously. The equipment realizes a continuous
self-cleaning process by relying on the movement between the fixed
ring and the traveling ring, thereby ingeniously avoiding the
common blockage problem of traditional dehydrators.
